It is critical that students of today are ‘world’ and ‘job’ ready, apart from deriving the best out of their academics. Enhancement of soft skills skills and grooming is imperative as they charter their path through the 21st Century, something that is unfortunately missing from the curriculum in most schools across the country.

KA has carefully curated a list of modules such as SMART studying, public speaking, etiquette and grooming, leadership skills, and a lot more for students to explore team work, collaboration, critical thinking, problem solving, that will give them the edge over others as they step foot into the real world.

  1. Managing Emotions
    Ensuring a smooth home to school transition for our young ones through role-play and drama and equipping them to be able to deal with a range of emotions. The focus will be on orienting children to understand key life skills such as sharing, caring, etc.
  2. Story Telling
    Storytelling is an ancient and valuable art that extends around the globe. In this module, students will develop their own storytelling talents through hands-on activities, apply the techniques of storytelling, create storytelling guides, and narrate a story for an audience as a performance.
    This module will focus on building their vocabulary, make them fall in love with words, ideas and plots and push them to build imagination in creative ways, hence focusing on critical developmental milestones.
  3. Math in the kitchen
    Pre-math concepts explained in a manner that is seamless as well as fun for kids through hands-on and effective manipulatives that can be replicated at home.
  4. Science Fun
    Explaining to children that Science is the basis of existence through fun, hands-on and effective experiments!
  5. Developing Confident Speakers
    First impressions are lasting impressions. Keeping that in mind, our little ones will be equipped to present themselves with confidence, have the perfect posture and demeanour and deal with stage fright effectively.
  6. Dynamic Drama
    Fun and learning with acting. This module is all about encouraging imagination, social interaction, self-expression in children and is a delightful way to discover their freedom, creativity, and expression.
  7. Appropriate and inappropriate touch
    Building awareness on the sensitive issue of good and bad physical touch, interaction with strangers, etc. Done through interactive audio-visuals. Done through interactive audio- visuals.
  8. Building Self Esteem
    Toddlerhood and preschool age brings with it, its own challenges and helping children find ways to cope with these to build a happy and positive self image and self esteem is crucial. Dramatization, buddy learning, stories and puppets make this come alive.
  9. Making Melodies in my Heart
    Children learn best when they indulge in music and movement. This workshop takes the fun element to a whole new level with theme based rhymes, songs, prop play and dance activities.
  10. Art A to Z
    Using paints, chalks, crayons, paper and much more art material to create individual art pieces that children can display, use or gift to serve as an outlet to their creative energies!
  11. Games Galore!
    A combination of indoor and outdoor, individual, paired and group games to develop social and thinking skills holistically-as children learn best through play!
  12. What’s cooking?
    Cooking experiences involve a whole lot of learning, right from measurements to quantities, from taking turns to sharing, from mixing it right to presenting beautiful food- this workshop is one of our favourites!
  13. Creating Critical Thinkers
    21st century ready is what we all want our children to be! Critical thinking, logic and reasoning are honed through this module full of mazes, experiments, predictions and much more…
  14. It’s a wonderful world!
    The exposure to where we are in place and time, what our space is in this wide world and the fun to travel to different locations on the planet, comes naturally through this game based module.
  15.  Puppets at work
    Young children connect best with toys and puppets are always the best buddies for them. Creating their own puppets, giving them unique names and conversing with these and puppets that others have created are some of the things that are addressed through this module.
  1. Being responsible next-citizens
    Teaching students how to be tech-savvy and moderate their use of technology at the
    same time. For example, through the experience of a football game, students are asked to draw contrasts between a fun and energetic interaction with their friends versus spending time on their iPads alone.
  2. Money Management
    It is critical for students to realise the value of money management in their foundational years. Acquainting them to the basic idea of savings, expenditure and revenue.
  3. Being independent and taking ownership
    How can I take complete ownership of my day? Learning how to plan effectively, create check-lists and take responsibility of all your actions.
  4. Public speaking and presentation
    First impressions are lasting impressions. Keeping that in mind, we will equip students with presentation skills and how to conduct themselves on a public platform confidently.
  5. Team work
    Learning how to work in teams effectively, understanding the strength and area of development of development of each team-member, and learning how to reflect on one’s own and the team’s performance.
  6. Math in the kitchen
    Building on math skills through fun, hands-on and effective manipulatives from the kitchen that can be replicated at home.
  7. Science Fun
    Building on science concepts through fun and hands-on experiments in the kitchen, bathroom or anywhere at home!
  8. Publications and Communication
    Inculcating the habit of reading, exposure to different texts and publications such as fiction, non-fiction, classic literatures, international news publications, etc. Through these, building a deeper understanding of modes of communication depending on the audience.
  9. Appropriate and inappropriate touch
    Building awareness on the sensitive issue of good and bad physical touch, child abuse, etc.
  1. What it means to be a tweenager
    Dealing with emotional and bodily changes through puberty. A specially designed workshop to deal with the issues of today’s teenager such as social media, friends, etc.
  2. Money Management
    Teaching students how to be tech-savvy and moderate their use of technology at the same time.
  3. Handling relationships
    Ensuring that students are equipped to deal with the sensitive period of experiencing opposite sex attraction, change in dynamic with other relationships such as parents, teachers, strangers, etc.
  4. Public speaking and presentation
    Equipping students with presentation skills and how to conduct themselves on a public platform confidently.
  5. Peer pressure
    Ensuring that students are capable of dealing with sensitive issues such as bullying and don’t feel the pressure to conform their attitudes, values and behaviour.
  6. Financial Management
    Students will be acquainted to the idea economics at an introductory level. Financial management, that is done in higher grades, will be covered with students at this stage to ensure a strong conceptual foundation along with knowledge on basic account keeping, managing pocket money effectively, etc.

    Effective time management skills and managing one self

    Creating lasting impressions, social grace, developing self-esteem and personality building.
  9. Project management
    Students will lead a project right from the stage of conceptualising, to creating, and finally executing it. These skills which are essential in professional courses such as management and engineering, will be embedded in their formative years.
  10. Being a responsible citizen
    Instilling the spirit of patriotism in context to the 21st Century, being aware and responsible about opinions on neighbouring countries, encouraging students to contribute to the progress of the country.
  11. Publications and Communication
    Inculcating the habit of reading, exposure to different texts and publications such as fiction, non-fiction, classic literatures, international news publications, etc. Through these, building a deeper understanding of modes of communication depending on the audience.
  12. Appropriate and inappropriate touch
    Building awareness on the sensitive issue of good and bad physical touch, child abuse, etc.
  1. Building a career
    Guiding students about various opportunities that they can avail after grade 12, acquainting them to colleges nationally and internationally, building a resume, prepping for interviews, etc.
  2. Project management
    Students will lead a project right from the stage of conceptualising, to creating, and finally executing it. These skills which are essential in professional courses such as management and engineering, will be embedded in their formative years. They will also independently acquire internships as part of the project.
  3. Social Causes
    Inculcating students to be socially aware and responsible, encouraging them to take up social projects or set up a social enterprise.
  4. Public Speaking and presentation
    Equipping students with presentation skills and how to conduct themselves on a public platform confidently.
  5. Debates
    Equipping students with essential debating skills such as critical thinking, effective communication, teamwork, tonality, clarity, etc.

    Effective time management skills and managing one self

    Mind maps, reading and comprehension skills, mental math, effective use of analytical techniques.

    Building awareness on the importance of mental and physical health.

    Inculcating the habit of reading, exposure to different texts and publications such as fiction, non-fiction, classic literatures, international new publications, etc. Also learning effective communication through formal and informal letter writing, report writing, summary writing, etc.
